Pursuant to yet another letter expressing the frustration of our fellow citizens.
Letter that I will publish at the bottom of the text that is entitled.
I WISH I COULD:
The insults and invective detected in this letter reflect the frustrations and anger of all concerned citizens. Unfortunately, they will fall into the ears of these Rascals like a symphony of flies. It’s like asking a pig to choose between clear water and mud.
But how to put those robbers outside is the question?
We must talk, continue to talk but talk to the rising generation, otherwise this round of banditry will never end.
We need to re-educate the people, simply making them understand what are the meaning of those words:
ELECTIONS, DEMOCRACY, CITIZEN, CANDIDATE, ELECTED OFFICIAL.
Words that need to be redefined, especially for us Haitians.
When you go to the polls to vote, the law arising from democratic principles says; that we transfer certain powers to other people , who will be chosen and called upon to take on some tasks, so that we could continue to safely discharging our existential duties freely.
CHOICE. Definition of the word:
“Opportunity that is offered to make a decision between several proposals.”
Og Mandino, (Memorandum of God) see it in YouTube, say:
“Choosing is the greatest power that the Creator has given us, that we must use it carefully, otherwise we can condemn ourselves by not using it with lucidity.”
That is to say: It is a sacred right.
A decision that is approved Spiritually, too.
In the Bible it reads:
“Everything we knot here on earth is also up in the sky.”
Our religious teachers, instead of bowing our ears with a fictional devil, should educate us on the impact and fallout of such an approach that is : (Voting) a responsibility that we should not take lightly, so that the real devils physically woven that are waiting to seize our power, should not find in us easy preys, for we will be well armed with regard to the transfer of this power which should not be entrusted to robbers, thieves and criminals.
In order to do so, the criteria and elements to look for in a candidate before committing to trust him or her, should be well established.
“Woe to the man who confides in man.”
But what is a man?
Is it any energumen who swings on two feet?
How can we recognize the true men who deserve to be entrusted with our individual power, to lead the destiny of an entire people, an entire nation?
Being (male or female) belonging to the mammalian animal species of the hominid family, the only representative of its species (Homo sapiens).
They must know how to live in society, characterized by developed intelligence and articulate language.
My Spiritual Guru says: It is not all that stands on two feet that must be considered as a MAN. It takes a journey and several incarnations and generations before becoming a MAN.
The Bible knows this and asks us to perfection ourselves:
“Be you perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect.”
From this, we can lucidly establish the conditions, and find the distinctive signs of those who might correspond to the men and women to whom the people and the nation can set its own.
